Comments Off on USA is Missing the Global Revolution and We’re Not Much Better

Time Magazine Dec. 5, 2011

Look at the latest issue from Time Magazine and tell me what’s different about the US version relative to the rest of the world.  I think this is a great commentary on what Time thinks of its North American readership.  I don’t claim to be an expert on anything international after having spent 2 weeks in South East Asia, or even after having brokered a few international trade deals, but take a trip to the other side of the world and learn how ignorant we actually are.  It’ll do more for you than watching The Daily Show.

Comments Off on Thoughts on Manulife Indonesia

This is somewhat of an aside, but I think it’s worth noting because it really struck a chord with me. Manulife Indonesia were gracious enough to be sponsors of Junior Team Canada’s trade mission to Indonesia this year and we were lucky enough (and perhaps gracious enough depending on your confidence level) to learn about their company and operations in Indonesia.  Personally, I found the event amazing.  We were given   Read More ...
